In order to see the mysterious veil of Kanas Lake, my friends and I specially purchased tickets to the fish viewing platform. The Guanyutai is the highest point around Kanas Lake, allowing people to have a panoramic view of the entire Kanas Lake.

I climbed onto the fishing platform with full expectations. However, when I truly stood there, the scenery in front of me made me feel somewhat lost. At first glance, Kanas Lake seems to have a similar charm to the Yanghu Lake (Yangzhuo Yongcuo) that I have visited before, perhaps the only difference is the color of the lake water.

The water of Yanghu Lake is clear and transparent, presenting a deep blue color. The water of Kanas Lake presents a turbid green color, not as transparent as Yanghu Lake, but also very beautiful. I thought to myself, maybe it's the hidden water monster in Kanas Lake that's causing trouble. It's tumbling around in the lake, stirring up the beautiful water.

Looking into the distance, the continuous snow capped mountains come into view. If I'm not mistaken, the highest snow peak among them should be the Friendship Peak. With an altitude of 4374 meters, Youyi Peak is the main peak of the Altai Mountains and an important symbol of the junction of China, Mongolia, Russia and Kazakhstan.

What particularly moves me is the Friendship Peak Glacier. As the lowest mountain glacier in China, the majestic momentum of the Youyifeng Glacier and the strong impact of ancient glaciers form a landscape that can be regarded as a wonder of the world. In contrast, although Kanas Lake is beautiful, it seems to lack a touch of shock and uniqueness, making hiking through Friendship Peak and glaciers more attractive

Imagine walking in a picturesque scenic area, it must be a journey full of fantasy and temptation. Every step feels like stepping into a brand new world, and every breath is accompanied by the breath of nature. That will be another beautiful encounter that is completely different from Kanas Lake.
