A very accidental opportunity led me to find this seat. For some unknown reason, the residents around the Cetian Reservoir are sculpting several statues of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and one of them is located on an open grassland with undulating heights, without any obstruction to this Bodhisattva. As a result, the possibility of shooting a suspended sun is greatly increased. After all, during the shooting process, the camera position can be adjusted at any time, allowing the sun to steadily fall on Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
This is my second time coming to this position, and the sky is still shrouded in dark clouds. However, I saw a bright light emanating from the skyline, which meant that the skyline was not completely obscured, so it was bound to be a sunset filled with clouds. I waited around early, eagerly awaiting the arrival of sunset.
But ultimately, things didn't go as planned. The clouds were still slightly thicker, and the sun never broke through the boundaries of those dark clouds. I held up my camera and repeatedly adjusted the position several times, but none of them succeeded. In the end, I only captured half of the sun. But even so, I am still very happy because the sunset is so dazzling that it almost drives me crazy. I naturally won't miss such a beautiful scene. I set up another camera early and started delayed shooting.
This can be considered as my first satisfying shot after purchasing 100-400 lenses, and the photos I obtained can also be considered successful. Amitabha Buddha, I am grateful for the generous gift from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Next time, I will continue to work hard and produce even more amazing works
As night gradually fell, I packed my camera and my heart was filled with emotions about this shooting experience. Photography is not just about pressing the shutter, it is also a pursuit and recording of beauty. Every shot is a dialogue with nature and an encounter with art. I recall the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva standing there quietly, as if witnessing all my efforts and perseverance. And that beautiful sunset will also become an indelible memory in my memory
